In recent years,fine particulate matter (PM2.5) has become the primary pollutants affecting air quality of Beijing,causing widespread concern in society.Understanding the origin of pollution is essential to developing effective strategies to reduce PM2.5 pollution in Beijing.In this study,the study area was the Central Six District of Beijing,we used the Particulate Matter Source Apportionment Technology (PAST) in Comprehensive Air Quality Model with Extensions (CAMx) to quantify the influence of different source region and emission category contribution on concentration of PM2.5 in the Central Six District in January,April,July and October,representing four seasons in 2014.
