  This presentation will discuss the role of diagnostic integrated geoscience(DIG)in marine site characterisation for engineering assessments.The process and life cycle of DIG will be dicussed first,followed by a case study demonstrating how this was applied in the site charasterisation and geological model development for a mega scale gas filed development offshore Australia.The benefit of using DIG in offshore developments will be highlighted through this case study.
