The recrystallization behaviors of pure tungsten with different rolling reductions were investigated by isothermal annealing in 1350℃.The variations of hardness and recrystallization volume fraction were given by a Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Kolmogorov(JMAK)model for different deformed materials. The rate of the recrystallization process and the duration of recovery part increased and decreased with the increased deformation ratio, respectively. The grain boundary map of all fully recrystallized tungsten samples were obtained by Adobe Photoshop and Image Pro Plus(IPP)software with a large area about 2×2 mm2 on the RD×ND plane. The grain size distribution and the average grain size of pure tungsten were calculated. The anisotropy of all grains with different deformation ratios were quantified by MATLAB.Also, the recrystallization volume fraction coincides with the optical microstructure.
