Stone coal ore is a carbonaceous shale which containing vanadium.In the process of leaching vanadium from roasted stone coal with NaOH solution, besides vanadium will be leached into the solution, a large number of impurities, such as Si and Al and As, are also be leached, which should be removed through purification process.The commonly used method to remove Si from leaching solution which called acid method is to adjust pH value of the solution with H2SO4.
