  Numerous studies have shown that the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α was associated with a number of age-related chronic diseases,such as cardiovascular disease,diabetes,cancer,physical disabilities and cognitive decline.So it is very necessary to establish a rapid and simple detection method for IL-6 and TNF-α.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)is frequently used in the detection of interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-α),however,this technique is time-cosuming and needs more sample volume.In this paper,one kind of colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip and one kind of self-fabricated colloidal gold immunochromatographic microchip were developed for simultaneous,rapid,and visual detection of IL-6 and TNF-α.The immunochromatographic strip and microchip might be chosen as a potential analytical tool in real time detectionwhen they have a good detection sensitivityin further study.
