Aim: Our previous studies have reported that the phenolic alkaloids of Menispermum dauricum rhizome (PAM) have protective effects against ischemic brain injury.In the present study, the underlying mechanisms of FAM against oxygenglucose deprivation injury in vitro were investigated.Methods: Oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) in primary rat cortical cultures and brain slices were used to mimic ischemia-reperfusion injury respectively.
