Ankang passage of Hanjiang River is located in the upstream of Danjiangkou reservoir.Danjiangkou reservoir is the water source of the project of South-to-North Water Diversion. Therefore, the water quality keeping is important. However, the ship waste is mainly and simply collected or processed in the garbage can or landfill at present. These simple measures are difficult to satisfy the further need of Hanjiang River.Firstly, the characteristics of the ship wastes and the processing measures were analysed in this article.Secondly, the ship wastes mainly will be centralizing processed in the land and received by the special recovery ship.Meanwhile, the organic and biochemical treatment method will be recommended to the kitchen and washroom garbage in the ships with one hundred to two hundred persons. Finally, eight waste recycling stations will be set up in the land.
