Objective:To study the mandible ramus histomorphometry in D-galactose-treated rats and evaluate the effects of mixture of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Bge and ginseng (DG) on histomorphometry of mandible ramus in D-galactose-treated rats.Methods:Forty-three SD male rats (SPF) were randomly divided into 4 groups,group 1 was 13 rats,and other groups were with 10 rats per group.Group 1 was treated orally with vehicle as control (NS group),other groups were hyodermic injected D-galactose (10mg·100g-1·d-1) first,and then treated orally vehicle (D-gal group),or CS (combination of Stanozolol 0.54 mg/kg/d + Piracetam0.424mg/kg/d) or DG (combination of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Bge(3.645g/kg) and ginseng (5g/kg),all at dose of 10ml.kg-ld-1 respectively,once a day for 90 days.
