Objective: To observe Wnt5aexpression of cells and tissues in breast cancer and non-cancerous tissue, and its relationship with the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).Methods: RT-PCR method was used to detect Wnt5a,E-cadherin, and Vimentin expression in breast cancer MCF7 cells and normal breast cells MCF-10A.In addition, the intrinsic link ofWnt5a, E-cadherin, and Vimentin expression in MCF-7 cells was analyzed.Immunohistochemical methods were used to study Wnt5a and Twist expression in breast cancer, precancerous lesions, and breast lobular hyperplasia.The significance of Wnt5a and Twist expression in breast cancer development was analyzed by combining clinical and pathological data of patients.
