1-deoxy-5-phosphate synthase(DXS)is a key enzyme in the upstream of terpene biosynthesis pathway,we cloned its gene from tobacco K326 by homologous comparison and RT-PCR,and analysed and predicted it by bioinformatics method,such as physical and chemical characteristics of amino acid sequences,hyophobicity or hydrophilicity,molecular phylogenetic evolution,subcellular localization,phosphorylation site,signal peptide,secondary structure,transmembrane topological structures and function domain.
