The contrast tests have been carried out of siltstone specimens uniaxial compression creep under shock disturbance and conventional uniaxial compression creep experiments using self-made creep device.The creep deformation and surface fracture development characteristics of siltstone are obtained under impact disturbance.The results show that the ratio of creep strain to total strain is about two times than the conventional uniaxial ratio under impact disturbance, and it is exponential with axial stress.The stress required for stable creeping and acceleration creeping is significantly reduced.The impact disturbance accelerates the development of rock fracture.The side surface of the rock sample has a tensile fracture at first, and its regular.There is a small crack on the upper surface and small parts of the middle and upper of the surface of the rock sample.The surface of the rock bottom is almost intact.
