Objective:This study aims to investigate whether there exists altered expression of aquaporin 3(AQP3)in patient with gouty arthritis(GA).Methods:(1)49 acute gouty arthritis(AGA),40 inter-critical gouty arthritis(IGA)and 42 healthy controls(HC)were enrolled.Fasting blood samples were obtained for biochemical examination and blood cells counts.(2)The expression of AQP3 mRNA was detected with RT-qPCR and AQP3 protein was detected by Western blot in PBMCs.(3)Correlations between laboratory data and AQP3 mRNA levels were analyzed by the Spearmans analysis.
