Recently, the polymer/inorganic hybrid solar cells based on conjugated conducting polymer and inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals in a bulk heterojunction structure are of great interest in developing the low-cost, large-area and mechanically flexible photovoltaic devices. However, due to the short exciton diffusion length, the relatively low carrier mobility in the hole-conducting polymer, and high electron recombination rate, the photoelectron conversion efficiency is still low, which hindered the development of the hybrid solar cell.
