Eu3+-activated nanosheet phosphor has been prepared by the soft chemical exfoliation reaction of the Bi2Sr0.9Ta2O9∶0.1Eu(BST∶0.1Eu)bulk layered compound,.Bi2Sr0.9Ta2O9 Which is synthesized by solid-state reaction.XRD,SEM,TEM and FL have been employed to detect the phase,morphology and the optical property change,during the whole process.The XRD results show that no significant change in the phase structure of Eu3+-doped BST is observed,and the product is indexed on the basis of an orthorhombic cell 0.5508,b)0.5512,and c)2.4991nm.After protonation,swelling and cleavage,TEM and SAED examination distinguish that the two-dimensional nanosheets with lateral size of 500nm have been obtained in the ethylamine solution.The photoluminescence emission can be obtained excited by the nanosheet host,which have access to the broad blue light located at 450rtm,and the relatively lower red peaks from the 5D0-7F2 manifold transitions of Eu3+ This will offer new opportunities and challenges in the development of a new photoluminescence device constituted of luminescent nanosheets with blue-red co-colors.
