At present,Many devices are used to realize non-contact radiation measurement for pulverized coal combustion flame temperature.Whenever the body to he measured behaves as a gray body or a body of known emissivity,all devices inferring the tree temperature from the body radiation are accurate and reliable.On the other hand,the emissivity of pulverized coal combustion flame is uncertain because of the influence of raceway shape,physical chemistry,the working states,temperature and spectral et al,emissivity compensations need to be done,or else the result will lead to big deviations value for non-contact radiation temperature measurement.Furthermore,the saturation of the CCD sensor will be appear during high temperature measurement process.In this paper,a real time system is more likely to be utilized.For all other cases,a system of two CCD camera based on machine vision have been built and used in pulverized coal combustion flame temperature measurement and working state monitor for blast furnace.The system is herein carefully characterized and applications such as machine vision control system are presented.The system has been successfully applied pulverized coal combustion flame radiation temperature measurement and working state monitor in blast fumace raceway.
