  For the purpose of calculating the probability of a neutron sponsoring a persistent fission chain, a Monte Carlo method is presented in this paper to simulate the evolution of neutron populations in the multiplying system.This simulation method is based on the micro parameters of the multiplying system and Terrels distribution is used to sample the neutron number released in per fission.Some numerical examples are given to examine this method, and results all accord with each other.
