Many efforts have been paid to simulate rolling texture evolution in aluminium and its alloys, since the corresponding grain orientation evolution and texture formation could offer very important references to reveal the deformation behaviours based on crystallographic mechanisms. The theoretical considerations should be able to predict not only the correct texture formation, but also the strain and stress states of grains in polycrystalline aluminium.
