As interest in the therapeutic and biotechnological potentials of bacteriophage (phage) has grown,so has value in understanding their basic biology. However, experimental data on the impact of phage infection on the bacterial gene expression and metabolism remains scarce. In this study,we tracked the phage-host interactions by combining transcriptomic and metabolomics analysis on Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P.aeruginosa) cells infected with lyric bacteriophages PaP1.
