The transformation of a normal somatic cell into an immortalized and later into an invasive cancer cell involves dramatic phenotypic changes including changes in cell proliferation,motility,metabolism,genomic stability,and survival.There were an estimated 84,400 incident cases of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC)and 51,600 deaths in 2008 worldwide.
