The fluid model is usually used to investigate the microwave air breakdown, since particle-in-cell-Monte Carlo(PIC-MCC) is too expensive to simulate the highly collisional plasma. The fluid model needs a lot of plasma parameters, most of which depend on the assumptions of electron energy distribution function (EEDF).Some studies have noticed the importance of EEDF and incorporate the Boltzmann equation (Bolsig+) or Monte Carlo method into the fluid model. However, most of them assumed the EEDF is temporal invariance.
