The study is carried out as the first attempt to investigate the tourists satisfaction with the importance-performance analysis (IPA) model in the World Natural Heritage Site in China.834 questionnaires at Wulingyuan area were collected and analyzed,and 39 pertinent attributes are identified.The results of IPA illustrate that Wulingyuan area performed well in 21 out of the 39 attributes,in areas mainly related to attraction,accommodation,traffic,information service,while 5 attributes on food service,visitor management and some staffs attitude fell into the concentrate here quadrant and should be improved.The limitation of the study was discussed at the end of the paper.
