Lignite has a character of high moisture and low calorific value which will reduce the combustion temperature,increase exhaust heat loss,reduce the boiler efficiency,and increase the coal consumption quantity,when it will be directly involved in burns.This paper studies the influence of the moisture on fuel lignite calorific value,the quantity of furnace temperature,the flue gas exhaust heat loss,the boiler efficiency,the coal consumption and etc.Research showed that water increases,fuel calorific value and exhaust the heat loss will reduce,and the boiler efficiency increase; Flue gas of unit weight from the fuel burning gas will reduce with the increase of the water,but due to the amount of coal consumption increasing with more moisture,the comprehensive result is that the total fuel gas volume increase with moisture increasing; furnace heat release rate will cause a substantial increase with the effective reduction of the water and the adiabatic combustion temperaturealso decreased with the decrease of water,but the change will be limited into a relatively small magnitude.
