Drugs researches represent the scientific support of Evidence Based Cardiology (EBM).Moroever, Clinical Guidelines (CG) have been based on randomized controlled clinical trials results (RCCT).The methodology of RCCT has been used also to evaluate medical devices.Also cost benefit analysis and cost efficacy analysis have been provided.At the present time, there are many difficulties, worldwide, in applying the results of trials to patients care, for cultural reasons (reduced knowledge of protocols, results and poor transmission and application of data and available information), and economical limitations.International regulamentatory agencies (FDA, SFDA, EMEA and AIFA) have different rules for accepting and implementing clinical trials, but they can collaborate in supervising clinical researches, scientific data on drugs safety and efficacy and finally drugs registration, in different areas of the world.
