　　countries such as Canada, Germany, Holland, Italy, New Zealand, and New Jersey of USA, was established in a temperate climate in Poland (52.4°N, 16.8°E) in 2008.Green spears of these cultivars were harvested in spring from 2011 to 2013.Yield, earliness and quality of spears differed significantly among cultivars.Taking the mean value of three years into account, the highest total yield (over 9 t·ha-1) was found on two Dutch cultivars -Gijnlim and Cumulus and one German-Mondeo, whereas the lowest (approximately 6 t·ha-1) was received from Pacific Challenger and Pacific 2000 from New Zealand.
