Financial development plays one of the most important roles in economic development of each country. This study takes Asian countries as research objects and examines the relationship between financial development and economic growth. In this regard, this study takes the data of Asian countries from2000t02017as the initial sample, excluding countries with completely missing core variables, and finally retains28Asian countries as the research sample. This paper sets up a panel econometric model to test the relationship between the development of the stock market, banking sector and economic growth, and uses the F test and Hausman test to select the optimal situation of the panel model.According to the results of empirical analysis, the stock market development indicators indicate that the development level of Asian stock markets is generally low.As for the development indicators of the banking sector,it can be found that the level of development of the banking sector in Asian countries is higher than that of the stock market. The side shows that some Asian countries may be based on a bank-led market economy system. The average level indicates that bank credit exceeds bank deposits.
