Motivation, in its different forms, seems to be very important for all employees in anOrganization.Thats why Organizations design motivation systems to encourageemployees to perform in the most effective way in achieving the Organizations goal.So,the key point here is to identify the efficient motivational factors to be used in themaximization of employees performance in the organizations and the Organizationsprofit.The main purpose of this dissertation is to identify some motivational factors seen as veryimportant by students of Shandong University, considered as the future employees, tomaximize their performance in the organization.In fact, the dissertation used qualitativesurvey distributed among a sample of 137 students from the entire ethnic group, fromdifferent continents, majors, schools, cultural backgrounds and gender, with the intensionto get their responses about the factors that can motivate them in the maximization oftheir performance as future employees in the work place.The analysis from the empirical findings showed that Job satisfaction was the mostranked factor for all the sub groups that made up the sample survey.The result suggestedthat Good wages, Job security, Interesting work, Good environment, Promotion andgrowth in the Organization, the Relationship between the boss and employees, and Fullappreciation of work done, were the factors that motivate them to perform in anOrganization.However studies from previous researches used in this study showed thatdifferent results could be obtained from different groups of employees.This studytherefore can be seen as an introduction to a more detailed study to be carried out byfuture researchers in the field of employees motivation.
