本文重点从理论层面上深入分析21世纪以来电视节目模式国际贸易规模扩大的动因及其对全球电视节目产业的重大影响。本文认为需求、供给以及市场交易成本方面出现的变化是21世纪以来电视节目模式国际贸易规模扩大的主要背景和动因;模式贸易的发展带来了电视节目产业在全球范围内分工和专业化的深化,将规模经济效应、劳动分工与专业化效应及服务外包效应从电视节目播出领域拓展到制作领域,进一步解决了电视节目产业“文化多样性”和“产业标准化”之间的矛盾,在满足产业效率提升的同时促使文化多样化的回归,在一定程度上有可能缓解甚至改变电视节目成品领域“单向流动”的现状;而节目模式贸易背景下发生的合作学习效应、成本倒逼效应以及环境培育效应可以帮助后进国家或地区的电视节目产业实现跨越式发展,完成从进口模式到原创模式的过渡。
