Obesity concern may describe the best how our modern society and values have altered the most precious gift we were given since our birth,our health.Obesity may be one of the most underrated issues of the 21st century.How can a little embonpoint be such a serious threat?Carrying a little amount of fat won’t harm or impair your metabolism,but obesity is the harbinger of others diseases.While western countries have first seen their obesity rate increased,they have also witnessed subsequently the emergence of new diseases induce by their population dietary habits and lifestyle.Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,diabetes are among the deadliest reflection of it.Surprisingly nothing or few have been done by national organs to limit its expansion within their territory to such an extent that in some society,being fat has become the norm.This weight issue involved a lot of sectors of the economy and perhaps one of the most influential of all,the food and the pharmaceutical industries.Their lobbies,their stranglehold in the food supply chains,their power of persuasion over the mass and finally the international economic framework have provided them a barrier-free pathway and areas to easily reach billions of unaware of consumers to make them fat,and by doing so,increasing the market for fat loss solutions.After I have economically analyzed the winners and the victims of this business in China,I have also tried to catalog the obesity prevention measures and action plan worldwide to see how this matter is handling states by states.Finally,the last chapter of this dissertation will focus on the existing Chinese obesity prevention and what can be changed within the society according to international experience on this question.
