This study was conducted in China and Tanzania.The United Republic of Tanzania is a country in East Africa within the African Great Lakes region.It borders Uganda to the north;Kenya to the northeast;Comoro Islands at the Indian Ocean to the east;Mozambique and Malawi to the south;Zambia to the southwest;and Rwanda,Burundi,and therefore the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west.The thesis is tailored around an assessment of China-Tanzania trade development and Tanzania logistics operations.China-Africa bilateral trade has been steadily increasing for the past years.However,weak commodity prices since 2014 have greatly impacted the value of African exports to China,even while Chinese exports to Africa remained steady.China Tanzania trade relationship dates way back Following Independence when Nyerere sought to build an independent national country that was economically self-sufficient in terms of resources and manufacturing.China-Africa cooperation is beneficial merchandise trade focus of China-Africa economic cooperation can promote China’s current economic transformation and upgrading,but also pull the local economic development in Africa.The thesis is tailored around an assessment of China-Tanzania trade development and Tanzania logistics operations.The main content focuses on the following aspects.Through a systematic review of the relevant literature on Sino-Tank trade development and logistics operations,it is found that most of the literature are based on Sino-African relations,and less on Sino-Tank.In addition,systematically combing the relevant theories of logistics and regional economy lays the necessary foundation for the follow-up study of this paper.Study on Logistics Operation in Tanzania.It can be seen from the relevant discussions in this paper that the current logistics operation in Tanzania is relatively chaotic.In the actual operation of the relevant logistics transportation modes,there are generally problems such as high logistics management costs and low timeliness,insufficient international logistics synergy,insufficient international logistics supervision mechanism,and the impact of strikes and road conditions.In response to relevant problems,it is necessary to optimize the logistics supply chain,reduce management costs,improve logistics timeliness,build an international logistics network coordination system,strengthen the supervision of the international logistics system,cultivate professional talents,and professionalize fleet management.Through the analysis of the existing data,this chapter obtains a series of charts through the calculation of the correlation coefficient.Through the analysis of the chart,it can be seen that China has become an important trade partner of Tanzania.From 2001 to 2019,China mainly exported consumer goods,intermediate goods and capital goods to Tanzania,and imported raw materials and natural resources from African countries.The trade balance between China and Tanzania is good,and the cooperation between China and Tanzania in development assistance,education,infrastructure construction,economic trade and other aspects can be achieved.It is expected that China and Tanzania can continue friendly cooperation in the future,and inject new impetus into the friendly cooperation between China and Tanzania.Finally,summarizes the research content of the full text,and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to improve the logistics operation in Tanzania according to the analysis of the current situation of economic and logistics development in Tanzania and the basis of this study.
