The economic component of the strategic partnership between Russia and China is becoming more tangible,demonstrating unprecedented rates of development of trade and economic cooperation,progressive growth of mutual capital investments,deepening other forms of business ties.Cooperation between Russia and China continues for four centuries,and up to today,the relationship between the two countries is actively developing.A distinctive feature of Russian-Chinese relations is the achievement of a high level of foreign policy interaction,and the importance of China as a strategic partner for Russia is especially important in the period of geopolitical tensions that takes place from2013-2014.An important characteristic in assessing the interaction between the two countries is the dynamics of foreign direct investment.According to statistics,China is among the top ten largest investors in Russia. The relevance of the topic today is extremely high.When it comes to a particular dynamic or a developed country in the world,it means that the investment climate of the economy is favorable.It is impossible to imagine a firm that could actively develop without investing money in it.Todays welfare is based on yesterdays investments,as well as todays investments tomorrow are based on welfare.While writing this thesis the next aim was stated:to examine the investment attractiveness of Russia in general and in particular its appeal for China and to investigate influence of foreign investments from China on Russian economy.
