The study of bilateral trade flows is one of the most important researches fields worldwide. Chinese and Belarusian scientists have studied many aspects of international trade, including trade between Belarus and China, applying various theories and models of trade. Despite the fact that the problems of bilateral relations between Belarus and China are studied quite well, but until now factors affecting bilateral trade have not been evaluated. The study used theoretically grounded gravity model of trade, with taking into account multilateral resistance terms, which showed good results in the study of trade flows between countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bilateral trade between Belarus and China. During the research the following work was done:A comparative analysis of systems of regulation of international trade in Belarus and China was made. The current level of turnover was analyzed and identified trends in bilateral trade between Belarus and China. The influence of factors on Belarusian exports and imports was assed, using a gravity model of trade separately for export and import trade flows. The study found that the values of the coefficients of the factors influencing the Belarusian foreign trade differ from the normal values for developed countries. In the bilateral trade is observed the stable tendency of increase of Chinese exports in Belarus with same time reduction of Belarusian imports in China. System of regulation of bilateral trade requires improvements. The results of this study differed from those that are usually gotten from gravity model studies of industrialized countries. Majority of Belarusian exports are raw materials, oil products, potassium fertilizers. The distance between Belarus and its trading partners doesn’t really affect the Belarusian exports.
