Regeneration and Reorganization-The Cultural Thoughts and Art Connotation of Stone Relief of Han Dynasty in the Constructing of Urban Public Space of Xuzhou City Its no doubt that unique charm is the winning weapon for a city in the fierce competition. With the charm a city can not only establish its brand, but also have great influence. The quality of urban public space of a city reflects the level of its modernization and civilization (including economic power), the life history and cultural attitude of the city and the city spirit which can increase the cohesion of the residents. Constructing urban public space needs capital investment, and whatsmore important isthe use of potential of the original culture and art In this way a city can give full play to its strong points and achieve twice the result with halfthe effort. Xuzhou, as a city with long history, has focused on the tactics of developing Han culture in the construction of its urban public space for years. On the whole, Han culture in the constructing of urban public space of Xuzhou mainly embodies the artistic reproduction and stone relief of Han Dynasty,which is as the figurative support and experience object during the process. In Xuzhou, stone relief of Han Dynasty has become the representative of Han culture.However, without specific research and guide in theory, Xuzhou has been destroying urban public space while constructing, leading to the double waste of material and spirit. In the thesis the author put forward her views and suggestions in connection with the use of stone relief of Hah Dynasty in Xuzhou public space.The thesis can be divided into three sections:(1) Discussion on the inevitability and necessity of stone relief of Hah Dynasty as the key element in
