With the development of technology, mobile payment system users’ rate in the society increases day by day since its efficiency and convenience.China is one of the leading countries of mobile payment systems by offering a new perspective on innovative methods by acknowledging customer behavior. On the other hand,Turkey is one of the promising countries that is ready for innovation and adoption of a new perspective of mobile payment systems. This research aims to analyze the determinants of mobile payment(MP)system adoption in China and Turkey by investigating mobile payment(MP)systems adoption literature.Furthermore, creating a comparative model to understand the perspective of Chinese and Turkish mobile payment system users.According to the conducted literature review on mobile payment adoption scope, the most employed theory was Technology Acceptance Model(TAM).Following the theory research model and hypotheses were formed.Data was collected by an online survey sent to Chinese and Turkish mobile payment users for testing hypotheses of the proposed model. The overall survey sample consisted of 288 mobile payment users from China and 297 users from Turkey. In order to explain the relationship of factors, the partial least square structural equation model(PLS-SEM)was performed and multigroup comparison analysis was used to analyze the disparities between factors by sampled models of Chinese and Turkish mobile payment users.According to the comparative model of China and Turkey, for both of the countries users’ attitude to use mobile payment systems is affected most by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. This study extends previous studies of mobile payment adoption behavior by examining the determinants of attitude between two different cultural-based countries.Furthermore, the result of the empirical findings will provide an understanding of how mobile payment adoption are diversified between two countries, and this perspective can help to globalize the understanding of main antecedents among the behavior and perception of the users in different cultures.
