本文以女性主义和女性主义文学批评理论为视角,以简·奥斯丁的名著《傲慢与偏见》为着眼点,探析了简·奥斯丁的女性主义思想,关注了英语世界与中国大陆对《傲慢与偏见》及简·奥斯丁迥然不同的阐释和接受,指出如果立足于21世纪的女性主义立场,反观英国当时的社会背景,就会发现奥斯丁的作品中蕴寓着鲜明的女性主义思想。虽然女性主义这个词在奥斯丁的时代还没有出现,但她的思想早已背离了那个父权至上的时代,奥斯丁不仅以道德家、幽默家的姿态展现,还是一位杰出的女性主义者。
