It has been found that intermittent secretion of LH in women with normal menstrual cycles is synchronized with PRL. This synchronization is also seen when women given estrogen pretreatment with progesterone and normal women or women with sexual dysfunction after using gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). However, the mechanism of this synchronization is not known. To this end, the authors conducted this study to clarify its neuro-endocrine mechanism. The subjects were 6 healthy women, aged 17 to 20 years, normal menstruation, cycle 28 to 30 days, all in the plasma progesterone began to rise 4 to 6 days after the start. Each subject was pre-inserted in the forearm vein
