利用美国科学信息研究所出版的期刊引文报告(JCR)2000版报道的定量数据,从全球的视角,对涉及59个国家和地区近6000种期刊的影响因子和被引频次的总体分布、国别分布、学科分布进行了比较分析。三种分布均呈现出高度集中的态势。对JCR的部分抽样期刊和中国科学引文数据库的期刊进行了引文峰值年的统计,发现引文峰值年为1年的中国期刊大大多于国外期刊,并对这一异常现象产生的原因进行了分析。讨论了影响因子和被引频次的引文基础、影响因子和被引频次在微观层次上应用的局限性、影响因子与被引频次与期刊质量的因果关系以及定量评价与定性评价的关系。
Using the quantitative data reported in JCR 2000 published by the Institute of Scientific Information of the United States, from a global perspective, the impact factors and the overall distribution of citations of nearly 6,000 journals in 59 countries and regions Distribution, distribution of disciplines conducted a comparative analysis. Three kinds of distribution are showing a high concentration of the situation. The citation statistics of some journals in JCR and China Science Citation Database were collected. It was found that Chinese journals whose citation peak was 1 year were much more than those in foreign periodicals, and the causes of this anomaly were analyzed. The paper discusses the citation basis of influencing factors and citation frequency, the limitations of influencing factors and applied frequency at micro level, the causal relationship between influencing factors and citation quality and the relationship between quantitative and qualitative evaluation.
