欧洲的前卫声响运动发展至今已近一世纪,在台湾却是压缩在解严后的20多年里快速形成自己的历史。台湾1987年前的戒严时代,对于“声音”有着种种管制,包括出版、电波、集会游行与歌曲审查,种种管制不但控制了人民的思想,也限制了人民对声音的想象以及接受程度,例如,当时台湾听者对本国音乐存在一种功能性的期待,认为它应当背负振兴民族、反共复国、教化大众的使命。在此政治社会背景下,台湾难以产生可接受实验声音与音 Nearly a century has passed since the development of the avant-garde sound movement in Europe. In Taiwan, however, compression has rapidly taken shape in the more than 20 years since its resolution. In Taiwan’s pre-1987 period of martial law, there were various controls over the “sound”, including publishing, radio waves, assembly and procession, and song review. All these controls not only controlled the people’s thinking but also restricted people’s imagination and acceptance of the sound. For example, at that time, Taiwanese listeners had a functional expectation of their own music and believed that it should bear the mission of rejuvenating the nation, opposing the communist republic, and educating the public.
