自1996年8月由格兰仕率先降价以来,微波炉市场就陷入了价格大战。各个厂家为了在市场上争夺一杯羹,竞相降价,并大力加强促销力度,价格战越演越烈。其中,格兰仕通过降价成功了,坐稳了市场龙头老大之位,市场占有率达60%以上,成为全球最具规模的微波炉生产企业之一。而1998年5月18日,格兰仕宣布其产品将全面升价,升幅初步定在10%左右,最终将返回1997年
Since Galanz took the lead in price reduction in August 1996, the microwave oven market has fallen into a price war. In order to compete for a slice of the market, various manufacturers competed for price cuts, and vigorously stepped up promotional efforts. The price war became more intense. Among them, Galanz succeeded in lowering the price, seized the position of the leading market leader, achieved a market share of over 60%, and became one of the largest microwave oven manufacturers in the world. On May 18, 1998, Galanz announced that its products will be fully increased in price. The increase is tentatively set at around 10% and will eventually return to 1997.
