The Fields Medal is an award for the international mathematics community and is known as the Nobel Prize for mathematics. It is a Canadian mathematician and educator. C. Names of Fields’s surnames. Fields (186 ~ 1932) studied at the Department of Mathematics, University of Toronto, Canada, in 1880, received a doctorate degree from Johns Hopkins University in the United States in 1887, taught at the University of Toronto since 1902, is a member of the Royal Society of Canada, Royal London Club membership. Fields has some achievements in algebra, but his main contribution is in mathematics education and promote the international exchange of mathematics. He was the first to promote postgraduate education in Canada, and fully prepared and presided over the International Mathematicians Congress held in Toronto in 1924, which was the first international mathematicians conference held outside Europe.
