在车床上车削退刀槽较窄的螺纹时,不能用高速顺车法切削。若采用低速车削,则容易啃刀,表面粗糙度也差,生产率低。我厂设计了如图所示的机夹正反螺纹车刀,其特点是利用楔块将硬质合金刀头卡紧,用此刀进行反切法高速切削。具体步骤如下:对好刀后,合上开合螺母,用手控制操纵杆,慢速开动机床(正转)。当刀头走到退刀槽处时,即停车,把螺纹车刀进到合适的切深处后,车床主轴即反转启动。切削速度为50~80m/min,刀具向尾座方向前进。照此方法切削数刀后即可加工出高光洁度的螺纹。此刀具可以加工螺距为4mm以下的螺纹,且不受工件直径大小限制(如工件直径过大,可拆去正车刀头)。如将车
