文章根据高等职业人才培养工作的特点和要求,结合当前高职院校的发展形势,以天津现代职业技术学院改革英语教学制度的实践为例,通过分析英语分级教学的特点,针对不同水平的学生安排有针对性的考试内容,调动学生学习英语的积极性,激发其动力,挖掘其潜力,并科学地总结了高职院校在加强教学管理、创新激励模式、全面提高教学质量方面的具体做法和一般规律。
