一、问题的提出美国驻华大使普理赫曾在中国人民大学就知识产权保护问题发表演讲,在回答学生提问时发生了一段小插曲。在场的一位老师说:“很多同学说出来的英语是彻底的‘外语’,不仅中国人听不懂,外国人也听不懂。”这种现象的出现说明现在我国外语教学已经处于一种颇为尴尬的境地:一方面,学生在英语学习上投入了大量的时间和精力;另一方面,我国的对外交往日益增多,学生的英语实际应用能力却十分薄弱。出现这一局面的关键在于传统的英语教学与社会
