本文着重分析了认知语义学上的关于隐喻和图式的理论。隐喻对多义词的发展起了很大的作用而图式理论与联想记忆紧密相关。教师将隐喻和图式的理论适当地应用于英语词汇教学,希望帮助学生扩大词汇量和提高英语水平。
This article focuses on the cognitive semantics of metaphor and schema theory. Metaphor plays a great role in the development of polysemy, while schema theory is closely related to associative memory. Teachers apply metaphor and schema theory to English vocabulary teaching, hoping to help students to expand their vocabulary and improve their English.
