According to the theory of air jet in fluid mechanics, the principle and method of using air curtain to isolate respirable dust at the driver’s working face are analyzed and studied. The air curtain forms an “invisible and transparent Barrier ”to prevent the coal from dusting during the coal cutting process to the driver’s office. The effect is obvious. The average efficiency of isolated respirable dust is 82.34%, which has great practical value and wide application prospect. Figure 2, Table 2, reference 5
