1.引言传统的计算机网络,特别是大型的广域网(如因特网)只能提供无传输性能保证的"尽力而为"(Best effort)服务.近年来,网络应用的蓬勃发展对IP网络提出了新的传输要求.大量的话音和视频流等实时数据在IP网络上传输时,对带宽、延迟、丢失率等指标有较高的要求,传统"尽力而为"的传输模式不能满足这些要求,从而促使人们改进对传统IP网络的设计,使之能够提供一定的服务质量(QoS)保证.
