The effect of oxygen additive on the specific resistance and hardness of Ti- (10-40) V, Ti-20V and Ti-30V alloys quenched from β-phase region was studied by Engineering Department, Kansai University. The phase structure of the alloy at room temperature was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. X-ray phase structure studies show that there is no significant difference between Ti-V-0.3% O alloy and Ti-V alloy containing ~ 0.1% O. The lower the oxygen content, the lower the endpoint of the vanadium content range at negative temperatures. Oxygen additives can improve the resistivity of the alloy, in addition to 15% V alloy, the oxygen additive can also increase the hardness of the alloy. The hardness of the 20% V alloy is less than that of the other alloys due to the decrease in the fraction of the ω phase insulating at room temperature with increasing oxygen loading.
