Using radioimmunoassay and chemical analysis, the effects of intraperitoneal injection of high-dose estradiol on blood pressure, neurotensin and trace elements in rats were investigated. The result shows that: 1. High-dose intraperitoneal injection of estradiol, blood pressure was significantly increased (P <0.05); 2. In the rat blood pressure at the same time, the hypothalamus, thyroid, adrenal and plasma neurotensin levels were significantly increased (P <0.05 ~ 0.01), while the pituitary neurotensin content was significantly Reduce (P <0.01); 3. The content of calcium, magnesium and copper in the plasma of rats were significantly increased (P <0.05), while the content of iron and zinc did not change significantly (P> 0.05). These results suggest that high-dose estradiol may induce an increase in blood pressure in rats. Neurotensin and calcium, magnesium and copper ions may play a role in this process.
