1942年10月2日,舟山群岛外侧的青浜岛。早晨7点钟,岛上的渔民看见不远的海面上有3艘日本军舰和1艘客轮自南向北航行着。当船队驶距青浜岛东北约2海里处时,突然一声巨响震天动地,巨大的水柱冲向天际,客轮上大批人员和货物坠落汪洋,怒海狂涛吞噬了众多落水者。青浜渔民不顾安危纷纷摇着舢板赶赴出事海域,先后救起200多人,并安全送岛登岸。而3艘日舰见死不救朝西北驶去,客轮很快沉没于大洋。事后得知,客轮上未及逃离及落水后溺水而死者达2000余人。死里逃生的约200名外国人惊魂初定,面露感激友善
On October 2, 1942, on the outside of Zhoushan Islands, Qingbang Island. At seven o’clock in the morning, the fishermen on the island saw three Japanese warships and one passenger ship sailing north to south on the surface of the sea.
