Chemodectoma refers to carcinomas that occur in carotid chemoreceptors and their cognate tissue cells. First reported in 1950 by Mulhgan, also known as carotid body tumor or paragangliom. This is a rare tumor, accounting for only 10% to 15% of all pheochromocytoma ([1]). Most chemosensory neoplasms are non-functional, mostly benign, and only 5% -10% are malignant. They can be lymphatic or hematogenous metastasis to the paravertebral canal of the mediastinum and the posterior mediastinum. The latter are relatively more and the spine metastases are rarer , Cervical spine metastasis is more rare. In the past 30 years in the literature, domestic
