目前电子数字计算机在速度、解题能力、存储量等方面正向着高、大方面发展,而其体积还要求相对地减小。与此相应,作为计算机外存储(中间存储)主要方式的磁鼓、磁带,也要求容量大(高密度),速度高,体积小。为了达到上述目的,在机械方面提出更高的要求,和研制高密度、高速度下使用的载磁体,此外,改进磁头的设计是有很大意义的。本文综合了部份国外杂志上发表过的文献摘要介绍如下。
At present, electronic digital computers are moving towards high and big aspects in terms of speed, problem-solving ability, storage capacity and the like, and their size is also required to be relatively reduced. Correspondingly, drums and magnetic tapes, which are the main forms of storage outside the computer (intermediate storage), are also required to have large capacity (high density), high speed and small size. In order to achieve the above object, higher demands are placed on the mechanical aspects and the use of a carrier magnet at a high density and at a high speed. In addition, it is of great significance to improve the design of the magnetic head. This article summarizes the literature published in some foreign magazines summarized as follows.
